Innovating and Investing in Massachusetts
We are proud to call Massachusetts home and we’re committed to creating a better tomorrow for our community.
More Than 20 Years of Innovation
Intel began operations in Hudson, Massachusetts in 1998. The site is a key research and development center focused on advanced semiconductor technology; embedding intelligence in the cloud, network, edge and every kind of computing device to transform business and society for the better.
Intel in the Community
Our success depends on the health of our local community. Intel hires from local schools and universities, invests millions in research and development, and spends billions each year with Massachusetts-based businesses. We don’t just work here – we live here too. We’re raising our families here, volunteering in classrooms and at nonprofits, and serving in community leadership positions.
Sustainable by Design
We continually strive to improve our operations and minimize our impact on the environment. Each year we purchase enough renewable energy certificates to meet 100% of our U.S. electricity use, including here in Massachusetts. Sustainable water management is also critical to our operations, and we have a goal to restore 100% of our global water use by 2030.
Innovation for Everyone
In close collaboration with our employee volunteers, the Intel Foundation, and community partners, we are working to expand access to opportunity and empower the next generation of innovators. Supporting education and other important community priorities is vital to making Massachusetts a vibrant community for everyone to live and work.
