Improving wireless connections can be challenging because, unlike CPU or graphics technology, network performance is influenced by many outside variables that change from one moment to the next. Using AI to constantly monitor and score available Wi-Fi networks, the Intel® Killer™ Intelligence Engine connects your PC to the best available access point, improving latency and throughput.
The Intel Killer Intelligence Engine delivers better performance in airports, hotels, and the home. If a location only has a single access point, then the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine will ensure the user is connected to the best band. If multiple access points are available, then the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine will evaluate the different access points and connect the user to the best band on the best access point.
Using the Intel Killer Intelligence Center, you can access the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine to view recommendations, analyze your Wi-Fi connections, or adjust your Smart Access Point Selection (Smart AP Selection) settings. View which networks are available to your PC, see which you are authorized to use, and compare their Wi-Fi health and properties all from the Smart AP Selection tab.

Connect to the Strongest Access Points Around You
The Intel Killer Intelligence Engine includes Smart Access Point Selection Technology that uses AI to monitor and score all available access points on several key wireless metrics. When the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine identifies a higher scoring access point, it will automatically switch you to the new access point if it is on the same network you are currently connected to. If the better access point is on a different network, the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine will let you choose to switch using a 1-click method.
Get Network Upgrade Recommendations
Many users don’t realize that they are using an older generation of networking equipment in their home. The Intel Killer Intelligence Engine helps identify outdated equipment by comparing the networking capabilities of your PC to the capabilities of the network you are connected to. If the capabilities are different, the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine will recommend upgrades that will increase network performance.
Prioritize Traffic and Network Performance
The Intel Killer Intelligence Engine works with other Intel Killer technologies to improve networking performance. Intel Killer DoubleShot Pro helps by evaluating the health of each interface and then making sure that critical traffic goes over the healthiest interface (either Ethernet or Wi-Fi). Meanwhile, the Intel Killer Prioritization Engine prioritizes traffic when the Intel Killer Intelligence Engine alerts it to an unhealthy Wi-Fi environment.
